Singer Toni Braxton covers the June/July issue of Upscale Magazine. In the issue, she talks candidly about her break-up and pending divorce from husband, Keri Lewis and her upcoming reality show, Braxton Family Values.
The show, which will air on BRAVO, will feature Toni along with her mother and her four sisters (Traci, Trina, Towanda, and Tamar) and is scheduled to premiere this fall.
I don’t think people have any idea what they’re about to see. They have no idea. I’m Miss Congeniality. That’s all I can say. My family’s very animated and it’ll be entertaining. There will be some personal things about everyone. My mom and my sister Tamar will probably be the drama.
No word yet on if Toni’s soon to be ex will be involved in the series, however she confirms that her kids definitely will NOT be on air…not on purpose anyway:
I have a special-needs son and I like to be able to control that with him, and I don’t want to exploit him in any kind of way. They might catch them if they’re passing through trying to get something. “Mom, where’s my iPod?” It’s not something where I’m trying to showcase them.
PULSE, what was supposed to be Toni’s comeback album dropped May 4th and seems to have gone double brick. Hopefully this venture into television will give her sales the boost she needs…
The June/July issue of Upscale hits stands tomorrow (6/22).

She looks fab on the Upscale cover and I’d watch her show becuase she’s never really gave anyone an inside look of her life. The Braxtons musical drama should be entertaining.
Toni’s like Janet, it’s time to try something new… no more albums, paaaaaleazzze! Very beautiful and talented but they’re in a different space now. Like Janet, slowly but surely, she’ll be forced to embrace it. Yep!
Tamar appears on Tiny and Toya alot she’s Tiny’s childhood friend all of the Braxton sisters look alike… I might watch..
