Is it me or is Drake really on some ol’ ‘why me?’ type ish these past few weeks?
I dunno… maybe he’s depressed or something but first he whines about how Rihanna made him a jump-off and now he’s spilling the beans about being shunned by Outkast’s Andre 3000.
We all know that everyone was on Drake’s jock at some point, but he seems to want to ‘out’ the few who weren’t. Drake explains in VIBE:
I really tried to do a song with Andre 3000, but I think it was meant for my second album.
Dre is one of those people that needs you to do a little more. He’s one of those people that believe in his craft so much that he needs you to do more than just be over hyped or just famous.
In his mind, I have to prove myself and the truth is, I do. That’s just being real. I have a lot of work to do, so I actually respect him for that. I think on the second album I’ll probably only have two features. I have a few people in mind and Dre probably will be one of them. (Source)
I’m sure Dre is sitting on his hands anxiously awaiting Drake’s call but more likely, he’s working on his own music and not even thinking about Drake.
I’m loving Drake’s new album but he must be hanging around Kanye a lot lately. Someone needs to hand that kid a few Prozacs and/or one of those lil purple “happy pills” before his next interview. Outkast should’ve never stopped working together as a group. Their work was amazing. “You, me, yo mama, and yo cousin too” is STILL in my truck. That and Kanye’s second and third albums… Love, love, love those. When I’m not listening to Rickey in the morning and Ryan in the afternoon, I’m playing those… Ohh, and Canton Jones too. Yep.

Drake shouldn’t worry about Andre 3000. Andre ain’t even there for his own son Seven Benjamin. Andre lets Seven be gay and feminine in Dallas. Seven is this way because Andre won’t move to Dallas and be a real father. Andre also lets Seven stay with Erykah’s assistants and lovers. What kind of father would stay in Atlanta and not move to Dallas to be with his child????????? Drake do not worry about this deadbeat Andre 3000. He ain’t even there for his own son and that’s why Seven wants to spend the summer with his mother!
