Q Da Kid is doing his part to aid relief efforts in Haiti. I just received a video of his new song “Save Me,” which was written to create awareness about Haiti recovery efforts.
The video contains graphic images of Haiti and it’s people, who were devastated by the January 12th earthquake that killed upwards of 300,000 people and left 1.2 million more homeless.
It’s been three months since the 7.0-magnitude earthquake almost demolished Port-au-Prince, but Haitians are still scraping together some semblance of life.
The clean up has started but it will be years before the area is even halfway restored. There are still major organizations that are aiding in the efforts and they all still need support.
Q Da Kid is stepping up to the plate by donating all proceeds from “Save Me” to The Haiti Alliance in Atlanta. I commend him and look forward to the next artist to step up…
