Slim Thug is something like a spokesperson for the relaunch of FUBU 2010. In the 30 second clip, Slim Thugga gives a lil dude rockin skinny jeans a few pointers on the virtues of wearing a
It ain’t even bout no baggy jeans man, those played out about 10 years ago. I can’t even fit my knot in those tight ass jeans. No way you’re gonna catch me in them…
They say history repeats itself and I guess that’s what FUBU’s hoping. We’ll see.

Tyler Perry & Janet Jackson appeared on The Today Show yesterday to promote “Why Did I Get Married Too”. Janet was shown in an emotional clip from the show and you can honestly tell that she was really invested in the part.
Host Merideth Vieara asks Tyler about “some hairy legs” and I coulda sworn he was about to mention Mo’Nique but he had a different story to tell about a situation that occured during taping. When Merideth pointed towards Janet, Tyler quickly proclaimed that SHE didn’t have hairy legs but “I don’t know why I know that“….
All I can say is it’s obvious Tyler’s been paying attention.

Check out a 30 second sneak peek of Usher’s music video for his new single “Lil Freak”, which features Nicki Minaj in two-toned blonde wig with Ciara making a cameo. The video was filmed in Los Angeles, and is directed by TAJ, who claims that the video will help redefine the word “freak”:
My general idea was to take the word and show its many faceted sides. Twisting and turning it to where theres really no distinguishing between one freak and another.
Hhmph… a freak is a freak. Upside down or rightside up by any other name it’s still the same. Check out the preview below:
On Saturday March 20, the first day of Spring in Atlanta was brought in with a mean crossover, sweet jump shot and hard hustle as over 400 local youth ages 12-18 participated in Converse Open Gym at Morehouse College.
In addition to competing in pick-up basketball games and receiving complimentary Converse gear and haircuts from Master Barber Coty Morgan, the youth were also treated to a visit from Atlanta Hawks Forward Maurice Evans and Ryan Cameron of V-103 FM.
I teamed up with Converse here at Open Gym in Atlanta to give kids an opportunity to play basketball in a safe environment. I’m honored to be a Converse athlete and excited about the great things planned for Atlanta that will create positive environments for kids to stay active and have fun. ~ Maurice Evans
Awwwww….Shout out to Mo Evans and M320 consulting for the invite.! I love seeing athletes give back to their community.

The official music video for Dondria‘s “You’re the One” just dropped today. It was filmed at Jermaine Dupri’s SoSo Def studios, the same location where she recorded the track and also the place where she and I sat down for our one on one a few months ago.
