Meet Sean Paul Joseph, age 30. Mr. Joseph was arrested Monday evening (Dec 21st) and charged with disorderly conduct, obstruction and simple battery after an altercation at Tongue & Groove nightclub. That may seem pretty status quo to you… but the crazy thing about this arrest is that Joseph is one-half of the rap duo Youngbloodz and the incident occured at his own mixtape release party!
I’m traveling right now for the holidays, so I’m having a hard time getting the entire scoop. But word on the streets is that Sean Paul knocked a n****ga out for talkin slick at his party.
Police were called and of course SP bucked… it was HIS joint… whouldn’t you? Anyway, Sean talked a lil ish when the folkz arrived and was arrested cause anyone who knows about the “A” knows that Buckhead don’t play that!
He was hit with 3 charges: Simple Battery, Disorderly Conduct & Obstruction and faced a $6,000 charge before facing a judge, who reduced the charges and the bail amount. The Simple Battery charge was dropped and his bond was set at $1,500.
Sean Paul has since been released and according to his Facebook page, he’s back in the studio.
