For the 7th year in a row, Hittmenn DJ’s co-founder and Zone IV Vice President Kaspa Da Don has managed to give back to the community with his Toyz N Da Hood toy drive for needy families.
Not only did he coordinate the efforts around town for the ToyzNDaHood toy drive, but he also managed to get several corporate sponsors & Atlanta area artists involved and hit up several metro Atlanta schools.
Saturday’s event started with a private party at Custom Whipz on Campbellton Road. The ToyzNDaHood sponsor invited several sponsored families to a surprise Christmas event where they were each treated to gifts on their “wish list”. There were bikes, dolls, games, electronics…no child left empty handed:
Big Boi and Lil Brotha stopped by during the part two of the toy drive, which was held at MetroPCS at Greenbriar Mall. V-103’s DJ Greg Street did a live broadcast from the location and drew quite a crowd in the cold. Big Boi even hopped on the mic for an impromptu performance of Shine Blockas and Shawty Lo, Roscoe Dash (All the Way Turnt Up), Young Ralph, Playboy Nard, Young Nno and more all came through with gifts in hand.
Giving is the reason for the season! Check out a few more photos below:
