Reality Show Alert! ~ The Hip-Hop Mom’s Point of View

The mothers of a three musical superstars have banned together to create their own show. “Dinner Table Discussions” will feature three women who gave birth to hip-hop/r&b icons, as they create a real “down to earth” atmosphere (ala ‘The View”) where they ‘ll discuss current events, important topics and interview guests.  Jacida Carter (Lil Wayne’s Mom), Aliyah “Mama Pain” Najm (T-Pain‘s mother) and H. Loraine Smith (Ne-Yo’s mother) have already started production on the program and have even begun to make a few appearances together around Atlanta:

“Our vision is to be a premiere talk show that delivers a creative and informative format that assists viewers in educating and solving challenging issues,” says Najm. “There are situations in our communities, cities, states and even nationwide that people have made us aware of and they want to resolve the issues, but they just don’t know where to get help or how to properly handle certain issues.”  (via RapBasement)

I’m assuming the combined experiences of these three will aid in the entertainment value of the discussions. Shoot, get a few mom’s together in one room and I’m sure they’ll come up with quite a few solutions. “Dinner Table Discussions” is slated to debut in 2010, although a network has yet to be announced.
