I’ve actually been a fan of Amy Winehouse way before Jay-Z decided to jump on “Rehab” and although I’ve never blogged about her, I listen to FRANK quite frequently. Her soulful voice caught my attention years ago and I guess it’s always my secret desire that she’d clean up her cracky ways and come back to her senses. *sigh* Well from this video SinnamonS sent me on Twitter yesterday, it doesn’t appear that will ever happen… not in this lifetime.

Flix ~ Jermaine Dupri, Big Boi, Nelly & More Bowl for Atlanta’s Flood Victims

Atlanta’s celebs came out in droves last night to raise money for victims of the recent Atlanta Flood. Jermaine Dupri, Nelly, & V-103 hosted the celebrity charity bowling event entitled, Atlanta Stand-Up at Red Carpet Lanes in Duluth. I, personally witnessed the friendly competition between JD and Nelly’s team vs. Big Boi & nem. I have no idea who won but there was a ton of cash on the heads of all involved.

Spotted in their best bowing attire were Lance Gross, Trey Songz, Neffe, Kandi, Rasheeda, Frankie, Big Gipp , Lil’ Brotha, Mike Bigga (formerly Killer Mike) and more! The event was not without it’s drama, being that a one Atlanta Blogger got booted for talking about JD’s height, but other than that it was a positive fun event.

In case you missed it, here are a few clips from Oprah’s “Good Hair” show yesterday. The show delved into the processes Black women go through and Oprah invited Chris Rock to share scenes from his new documentary “Good Hair.” Beyonce’s baby sis also appeared, sharing her story of why she decided to rock a low cut. In a surprise revelation, So told Oprah that she used to spend upwards of $50,000 on her hair before chopping it all off.

Lil Wayne and his new artist Shanell (aka SNL) tear up the stage during a performance of “Lollipop” while on the AMW Tour. In the above video, Shanell breaks it down as she backs it up on Wayne and he pulls her hair. A few months back I’d heard that Shanell was putting the moves on Wayne but she quickly denied all those nasty rumors. One things for sure…she can’t deny the chemistry the two have onstage!

[Sidenote: Shanell watch out... they say Lil Wayne is quite the fertile one. LMAO!]
