MJ had to die before I was able to see he and his sister perform one of my favorite songs. This song got me through some tough times. I love the part when Janet says, “You [white people] keep changing the rules while I keep playing the game.” Okay, I am having a ROOTS moment. And I ain’t taking about The Next Generation.

Here is my family rendition of MJ and Miss Jackson’s Scream.

How old is Jay-Z in camel years?? I know his azz is too old to be sagging. For real.

Sidebar: Lil Mama is from New York so she was representint. Heck, if I were there, I would have jumped on stage and represented NJ. LOL

I simply LOVE Janet and I think the opening performance including her was the best of the night. PERIOD. Jay-Z’s performance is always basic just him and the mic. Alicia added a little more to the performance but to be honest, if Lil Mama had not come on the stage it would have been a forgettable performance.

    Now children,
I think Alecia and J did a fantastic job, and I’m not a Jay-Z fan like that but I must say A New York State of Mind is a hot azz song. Yes! Janet girl, you’re classic. Just classic. Even Madonna was pretty fierce last night with the speech she gave.
Kanye, dude, what’s really going on. You got people booing you and the thing is I love you. I think you are one of the hottest M.C.’s to EVA grace the mic but you need to pull your azz togetha, just get it togetha!
After Lady Ga Ga dedicated her moon man to GOD and the **** I have a new respect for her. I’ll have to pay more attention to her from now on.
