Is Lil Wayne’s Ex A Backstabbing B*tch?

Is Antonia “Toya” Carter a backstabber? She seems like a really laid back cool chick, but if you ask Joy Bounds (aka Lyfe Jennings’ baby mama) you may get a earful! Joy was/is part of the baby mama clique in Atlanta, as she’s been hanging out with Tiny for years. If you recall, Kandi Burruss, Joy, Christine White (Luda’s baby moms), Tiny, Toya and possibly Monica were all in discussions about developing their own reality show but Kandi revealed in an Essence article that the idea was scrapped because of an “uneasy disagreement” with the producer.
Now it appears that Joy is mad salty cause everyone’s got a show but her. According to MrsGrapevine, Toya may have manipulated the situation to get all of the other women kicked off the show. She’s even been accused of sleeping with a friend of the producer! Is Toya’s on air sweet image merely a front for the cameras? Joy (and her friends) seem to think so. Okay ma, let me tell you Joy knew Tiny first! Take a look back at pics on SandraRose of Tiny’s baby shower Joy was there not Ms Toya. Joy brought these ladies together. It’s hard for her. I mean like joy is depressed. She really loved Toya, but Toya did her wrong.
The 2 first met couple of years ago and quickly took to one another because they were pretty much going through the same thing bad relationship with celebrity men. The two became friends fast. Joy decided to start up a show along with Toya the she (joy) recruited christine white and Tiny. Joy went out and found Christine and Tiny for the reason of doing a show. “Toya knows all of this.” They would have meetings at each other houses.
The 4 of them came up with an idea to do a late night talk show then they decided to do the reality show to jump start the talk show. Toya fell out with Christine. So Christine decided to step out the picture(You know Ms Christine got her own she because shes an attorney). Toya and Tiny really wanted 4 ladies thats how Kandi got involved. All four ladies met with Bet producer but Joy wasnt feelin right about how he wanted her character to act (crazy) so Joy and the producer bumped heads.So they flew to NYC to meet with another production company at MTV. They were very excited and wanted the show. They sent their deal to the ladies attorney and immediately started reaching out to networks. So within weeks Oxygen, Bravo and Oprah’s network O, wanted a meeting.
But, while Joy was working hard trying to put these meetings together, Toya said she didnt want to sign with the MTV company because they’re white and she felt they might make her look stupid, which Joy realize now was just some game because Toya was still talking to the BET producer and dating his friend who were telling her that she didnt need Joy, and that nobody knew who Lyfe was, etc. In the end Joy was stabbed in the back by Toya and left out of everything. Best of my knowledge the two did speak on the matter after the show aired and Toya didnt have much remorse..
Joy is deeply sadden and was left depressed in losing a friend and her ideas. right now Joy remains in her relationship and caring for her two lovely sons. she is still wanting to get into reality tv so she is working on more ideas.
I feel for Joy. Everybody’s on top but her…but did Toya really stab her in the back or was she merely a better business woman?

But anywhoo…thats a hard one. Becuz yeah if they were friends then thats f’d up, but by the same token, Toya was being a business woman…and I feel for Joy, but really, im sure people could careless about Lyfe baby mama…thats just the harsh reality of the situation.
What im glad about Monica didnt join in on this mess. Tiny and Toya show was cool but not tryin to be funny, but Mo is way better than that.

September 3, 2009 @ 3:21 pmso she think tiny had nothing to do with why wouldn’t tiny say something if thats HER bff!? bc when tiny was on 106th she said when she first thought of the idea she was thinking of a scripted show! and lyfe is a nobody right now so why wouldn’t she think its was just an executive desicion!? and why wait til the show has gone off and find out they had the highest ratings in BET’s history to say something why not come out before show!? I think its hate simply!

True indeed Tiny and Toya look like they trying to use this TV BS to jump start otherthings to get there “own” money because they are sooo independent right. I tell Lyfe’s BM keep your head up good things will come your way you look like you have much more class then them two label hoes anyway. Don’t make it seem like you bitter, mad, or care because if there is any truth to this Karama is a Biiissshh. Also the only thing Toya got to hold on to is the fact that she was married to Wayne…okay but your the first babyma and first wife cause he is doing the MOST.. Talk about that honey

Lyfe Jennings is not on the same level as Lil Wayne or T.I so she’s irrelevant anyway. His lyfe (lol) is not worth a reality show didn’t we see enough of him on Showtime at the Apollo anyway. I know that everybody should realiza by now that BET and MTV are owned by the same company-VIACOM! Alot of people I know dont even watch the show because its on BET, and they assume that it is ghetto. I dont know if the Tiny and Toya show would fit on MTV, but I think the BET did a good job at keeping the show filled the women improving their lives, rather just talking BABY DADDY TALK!!!! However, I think that if I was in Joy’s shoes, I would feel betrayed too. Especially if I was the one that introduced the two to each other, and they just peaced me out !!!
