Bow Wow is doing big things these days! Not only is he a recurring character on Entourage, but the retired rapper turnt actor is now an official member of the Cash Money team. Bow-weezy officially inked the deal and announced it via his TWITTER yesterday:
its official BOW WOW IS A CASH MONEY MILLIONAIRE. SHOUT TO STUNNA FOR BELIEVING IN ME AND GIVN ME A CHANCE SHOUT OUT 2 WAYNE FOR LETN ME WALK ON BOARD! AND MY YM FAMILY AND CASH MONEY FAMILY LBW/CASHMONEY/YOUNGMONEY BOW WOW WAYNE AND DRAKE? WHO GOT STOP THAT TRIO! GNR LETS GO ITS SHOWTIME!

-April 2009: Bow Wow retires from hip-hop claiming he’s achieved everything there’s to achieve. Bow states acting is now his primary focus.
-June 2009: Bow pleads with Columbia Records to release his contract freeing him to move about the industry as a free agent. Chatter of Bow’s return to music has begun.
-July 2009: After 2 months of hibernation, Bow announces via his Twitter page that he’s returning to hip-hop. Though he doesn’t confirm nor deny his next place of residence, he does insinuate offers from several major labels are on the table.
-August 2009: Bow Wow, again, announces via his Twitter page that he’s now a proud member of the Cash Money Records imprint. With this, Bow joins Lil Wayne, Baby, and the rest of the Young Money (Nicki Minaj, Drake, Jae Millz, Shanell) imprint.
Way to much going on in the music world. All I know is…I miss the old Shad Moss. He had so much potential. Hopefully this new association will allow him to shine. Hopefully…

I’m happy for Bow Wow for making a change in his life but lets not forget what was stated in his comments. If this artist needs help then get him the help that he needs so that he can continue being productive in life. Music does comfort the soul but it doesn’t hide problems. The industry seems very hard and artist must make changes in their life to make money some way so that they can survive like anybody else. Bow Wow, find your inner self and stop for a minute and evaluate your life by seeking help if you need it. Stay strong and positive. Hope all goes well for you!
