I was in Big Boi heaven Saturday night as he, C-Bone, Khujo Goodie and a few other Dungeon Family members all converged on The W Hotel in midtown for 790 The Zone’s Stewpendous Awards Post-Party, Sponsored by Crown Royal. I was posted front and center as it all went down and grabbed a bit of video coverage for you fellow Outkast stans. We all know I’m not a videographer, but I did my best while holding my drink in one hand and doing my two step to the beat.
Now, y’all can take this anyway you wanna, but I could totally care less if not nann one of you watch these videos! On the real….I’m having my own lil concert over and over again with this footage…
Monica hit up her twitter recently and shared a photo of her and Michael Jackson. She also dropped a few kind words to the Jackson family for their loss:
“Blessings to the jackson family. Michael is and will always be the greatest. Thank u foe your kindness and motivation. Your favorite song angel of mine is FOREVER dedicated to u. The king of pop”
“All my love to the great Michael Jackson. Gentle, loving, kind, gracious, giving and so very talented .We will miss u”
Monica has such a genuine spirit! She also has the strongest vocal chords in the game right now. Peep her dropping a verse from “Trust” during the Car & Bike show last weekend:
Can you think of anyone else who could blow like that…. acapella?! What?!
Mo has also been busy in the studio, as well as filming her upcoming BET reality show, “Still Standing,” which premieres October 27th after the BET Hip Hop Awards. Jermaine Dupri caught her in the studio recently with Bryan Michael Cox. She talks about her upcoming projects and even lets Lil Rocko show off his dance moves! he Stewpendous Awards Post-Party, Sponsored By Crown Royal was the place to be Saturday night (July 11), when well-known personalities in sports, entertainment and media like Boris Kodjoe, Mr. Collipark, Lamman Rucker and Angie Stone and more all came out to lend their support to The 2 Live Stews and the 790 The Zone Foundation. Guests were treated to a special live performance by Grammy Award winning, multi-platinum recording artist Big Boi and danced the night away to the sounds of legendary DJ Kid Capri.
I caught up with an A-town legend a few weeks ago during birthday bash…the one and only DJ Kizzy Rock and of course I couldn’t resist grabbing a bit of Old School Atlanta Memory footage from him for the archives. Kizzy Rock had us all in stitches as he reminisced about Freaknik 94 and Club 559. Check him out below:
Today’s flashback video is none other than DJ Kizzy Rock’s skripper anthem “Yeah Shawty Yeah.” Back when asymetrical hair cuts were the norm and all the cool dudes drove Jeep Wranglers. Peep the full video under the cut (NSFW):
For whatever reason, Kim Zolciak and Kandi Burress have gravitated towards each other. The newbie and the jump-off have been spotted chillin around town while the other Atlanta “Housewives” bond together elsewhere. I’m not really trippin on their lil friendship, but I just find it odd how obvious they are in their disdain for the other 3. Anywhoo….check out a few flix from their most recent lovefest on Atlanta radio station V-103.
From the looks of things…Wanda’s obviously not believin the hype either.
Not really sure what these two were talking about on the show, but NeNe wasn’t feelin it at all. She even sent a text telling Kim to back up or get beat down….(not exactly in those words but close).

I think Miss Sophia deserves “Diva of the Day” today in honor of that lacefront…
Check out more photos from Kandi & Kim’s radio station visit over at FreddyO’s spot.
I Antonia ” Toya” Carter have been disturbed but silent about the recent performance that took place at the BET awards, which including my only child Reginae Carter and her friends joining her father Lil Wayne on stage while he performed his new single “Every Girl”. I will be the first to admit that the father and daughter relationship should not have been reunited on stage for any particular reason while this song was being performed.
Wayne is a very loving, caring, and devoted father and I truly feel that the act was unintentional due to the fact that he was trying to make his little girl happy by letting her be on stage with her father. Once again, I do not of any degree think it was a wise decision and I truly do apologize to all that this may offended and most importantly the children that watched this performance. I feel we all have learned a lot from this situation and pray that the viewers will allow these children to move forward with their lives and not held accountable because they are innocent.
