The “A” Pod ~ “Get My Swagger Back” ~ Usher
After a marriage, 2 kids, 3 stepkids and major flop….Usher says he wants his swagger back. Pharell Williams recently discussed Usher’s upcoming “Monster” project and has even dropped a hint that the old Usher is no more. Usher’s previous album, “Here I Stand” technically ushered in a more mature, grown up, and ‘man handling his business as a husband and father” kinda vibe. But this time around, Williams says Usher is going for ‘mean and edgy’ and may be almost unrecognizable:
“It’s really great, it’s super edgy. He’s taken a lot of time to really sit and study and we really built something. It’s just, it’s mean.” ~ Pharell

Usher’s next album is to be c titled “Monster.” A release date for Usher’s project has not been confirmed but it is believed to be on tap for release this fall.

June 10, 2009 @ 12:19 amUsher ain’t been hot since confessions. His last album was garbage. Really haven’t been feeling his arrogance since he got married, I think it spilled over into his music. There are plenty married men in the music biz who don’t act like him. Even though it shouldn’t really matter it does esp. when people are spending their hard earned dollars to buy his music.

June 11, 2009 @ 4:37 pmI really like Usher as an artist. I think he is developing well and although it didn’t do the numbers we are used to seeing from him I personally like Here I Stand. I agree, Confessions was da bomb but I will support this young man because of the integrity he displays in his products.
