Moses Davis of Warner Music Group is hosting a monthly Thursday night event entitled “Thelonius Thursdays” and asked that I give you guys the heads up. The event begins at 9pm, Thursday June 11th at The Foreigh Exchange Cafe (68 Whitehall St Atlanta, GA 30310):
Thelonius Thursdays is an extension of the Spotlight Series that i started here at Warner Music Group. Thelonius is an outlet for artists of all genres ranging from Hip Hop to Jazz, Techno to Electronica to express themselves through Music performance, paintings, and other artistic expression.
Our featured performers this Month will be R&B artists Jaafar and Ben Stevens as well as talented MC A. Leon Craft. Music by DJ Passport. After June 11th, the events will be held every 2nd Thursday of every month and I would definitely love to see you there.
Come on out and enjoy a great atmosphere, great people and great art.

June 6, 2009 @ 3:02 pmThis sounds really interesting. I don’t know if you guys remember, I think it was every 2nd Thursday at the Martini Bar on Crescent Street they would host something like this. It was beautiful cause it featured really talented people of ethnic cultures.
I miss those types of clubs. We need more of that New York and L.A. night life here in the A.
