    @Niaboo

    If he snitched its public record so people would know it. And he hasn’t admitted to anything on 107.9, there is nothing to admit to. People just make up ****. Your husband is lying…sorry.

    I hate to be the bearer of bad news for you “snitch” proponents/theorist but Mr. Harris did not have to “snitch” to get a reduced sentenced. The only way he was going to be “guaranteed” a 10 year bid was under mandatory sentencing. Problem with your position is that the Supreme Court of the United States overturned mandatory sentencing in January 2005. Well over 2 1/2 years before Mr. Harris’ current predicament. The Supreme Court held that the sentencing structure could be used as a guideline by judges but judges are not REQUIRED (as they were before) to dole out the harsher sentence. Also the average time, in the federal jurisdiction in which Atlanta sits, for felons caught with firearms is 3 years. So Mr. Harris was starting off more from 3 years not 10 and definitely not 30. If you go to the federal sentencing guideline calculator you’ll see that the maximum sentence Mr. Harris would have gotten (yes with all those weapons and silencers, b/c silencers are not considered extra ordinary weapons) is 10 years. (Months are tacked on by the number of weapons so the person starts of with 0-about 6-12months just for having a firearm) Furthermore the lesser crime is inclusive in the greater time. Which means the charge of possession of unlicensed firearm is incorporated into the charge of felon with firearms. All of which a top notch Atlanta criminal attorney would know.

    The sad thing is now I see how we as Black People can and do get duped. We are willfully, uninformed.

    I’m glad the whole story is about over. The prisons are too crowded period and tax payers already paying out to that so why not get money out the whole deal. They know the more he makes the more they can take so they will smack him with fines all day. Why have him sitting in jail where they have to pay to protect him or suffer a possible lawsuit if he get touched? TIP knew what he was doin’ when he said that he wanted to be in regular population that’s his choice. If anybody know about the prison system they hit a code BLUE..its not about him snitching it’s about them dollars. To everybody up above Fu*k what your heard if you got any common sense you would know better. Learn the game money talk bull SHHHIIITTT walks PERIOD. They are not letting that man sit in jail…for what??

    Its gonna be funny when everybody realize that the Associated Press fucked up and didnt realize that he got sentenced to a year and a day AND 365 days home confinement…the 305 days credit time served is coming off of that 365, so he only has 60 days HOME CONFINEMENT…he still gotta do like 85% of that year and a day…am I the only nigga that still reads in America?
