Ciara (pictured above with Celebrity Photographer Derek Blanks) celebrated the upcoming release of her “Fantasy Ride” project with a celebrity filled bash at Atlanta’s Luckie Food Lounge last night. From what I’ve heard, the spot was filled to capacity with all of Atlanta’s who’s who. The event was also the location for a taping of the Real Housewives of Atlanta (season two) so you already know it was pandemonium up in that spot.
Monica, Young Jeezy, Juelz Santana, Rocko, Jazzy Pha and more were spotted partying in support of CiCi. Check out a few flix below:

I’m about 5 days late for the world premiere of Diddy’s “Diddy Bop” video but here it is. Better late than never…right? The song features A-town favorite, Yung Joc, who’s currently vying to be Diddy’s new right hand man *pause*
One question: How old is too old to be rappin about poppin bottles and jump-offs? I ain’t mad at Diddy for tryna keep up with the youngstas in the club…but I am mad at him for taking his shirt off in this video. Oh and speaking of jump offs…Diddy is featured today on Tales of a Groupie where a former jump off reveals:
Any ladies who get the chance to f*ck diddy- go for it. If you do [make sure] you put in work heavy, if so, you’ll have a friend for life.
Awwww. How sweet. Video and DL link under the cut:
Young Jeezy was scheduled to perform today at The University of Deleware, however the concert was canceled by officials yesterday (April 29) after an outbreak of the highly contagious Swine Flu. The concert, which was to feature Young Jeezy and upcoming rapper Drake, was scheduled for 8:00 PM tonight at UD’s Bob Carpenter Center.
UD President Patrick T. Harker announced that the concert, as well as a speaking engagement with noted journalist Gwen Ifill would be canceled, because 10 students on campus were suspected of having the deadly H5N1 avian influenza.
“While the Centers for Disease Control have not yet confirmed any swine flu diagnoses, I have no doubt that these suspected cases are causing a great deal of concern among the entire campus community,” University of Delaware President Patrick T. Harker said. “The University’s first priority is the health and well-being of our students and employees. Therefore, we are working closely with the Delaware Division of Public Health (DPH) to safeguard student, staff, and faculty health.” (Source)

Atlanta newstation WSB-TV obtained video footage of Andre 3000’s speeding arrest last month. The video shows Dre’s 1997 Porsche Carrera pulling over on the highway and his subsequent arrest by a Henry County officer. He was stopped for driving 109mph (44 miles over the speed limit) down interstate 75 and was arrested due to his excessive speed. Dre´explained to the officer that he was in a hurry because he had to get to a friend’s birthday party. He has since paid a $1200 fine and moved on with his life. I just hope he’s speeding right now into the studio with Big Boi for that new Outkast project…
You may have already spotted the billboards all around town that features a young, smiling Usher Raymond. I even saw one myself last night as I was rolling down Peachtree Street and posted a twit-pic:

Usher’s theme – BE ICONIC – ties to his profile as an award-winning, multi-platinum musical icon and a positive role model. He attended the Boys & Girls Club of Chattanooga as a young boy. Usher joins the likes of Denzel Washington, Shaquille O’Neal, Jackie Joyner-Kersee and Muhammad Ali as part of BGCA’s new advocacy campaign, featuring successful Boys & Girls Club kids and encouraging every American to help young people BE GREAT.
Usher was joined at the ceremony by his mother/manager, Jonnetta Patton, Mark Lazarus (Chairman of the Marketing Committee for BGCA, and President, Media and Marketing for Career Sports & Entertainment), Roxanne Spillett (President and CEO, BGCA) and kids from BGCs and Usher’s New Look Foundation. and nope…there was no sign of Tameka.

What in the Damian Omen II Exorcist hell is going on in Cobb County? *sigh* I dunno what ole girl did or who she did it to…but one thing I know for sure is that the officer who took this shot is a got-dayum master photographer! This is one mugshot that seems to capture this suspects every evil thought and gives us insight into the depths of her soul. Shiiiiiiid….if looks could kill, we’d all be making funeral arrangements right now! I wonder if she practiced that in the mirror?
