Solange Knowles and Estelle performed to a hyped Atlanta crowd Thursday evening. The concert was held at Center Stage and was sponsored by Honey Magazine. I, personally, am not a huge Solange or Estelle fan but found myself suprisingly entertained! I give mad props to Solange for holding her own onstage. During her finale performance of “I Decided,” she actually dove into the crowd and performed in the middle of a group of her fans who surrounded the front of the stage.
SoSo earned a gazillion cool points for that stunt! Peep the video and a few more flix below:
*note: Solange’s daring crowd dive starts around the 4:00 mark

I’ve come to really appreciate her as an individual after seeing her perform twice myself as well as meeting her a pre fame and post fame. She really is different like so many other siblings strive to do thier own thing and it just becomes who they are. I really like the way Solange is accessible to people and I think that’s something she will continue to do for a minute which will ultimately grow her fan base as she grows as an artist. “No, I’m not on Matthew’s payroll just giving props and opinion when it’s due.”

You can tell she can hold her own because she wouldn’t jump in a crowd if she couldn’t.

For all of you who think Solange is non talented you should really listen to her CD which Cee Lo had a lot of influence in. The CD is hot!!!!
