Reunited! ~ Dru Hill on Keith Sweat’s Platinum House (Premiere Party Flix/Video)

It’s been at least 10 years since Dru Hill’s last album dropped but the group has now reunited and has a new reality show in the works that will follow them as they attempt a comeback. Leading the pack is R&B legend and Atlanta resident Keith Sweat who has assumed the role of producer of the show documenting their efforts entitled “Platinum House.” Last night, the premiere party for Platinum House, held at Aquanox, and was attended by Vawn, Jazze Pha, Drumma Boy, Frankie, Sheree Whitfield and more. Even that lil boy from Tyler Perry’s House of Pain was there…at the club…partying with the grown folks…but I digress.

Sweat also visited ‘Good Day Atlanta’ last Friday (February 20th) to discuss the R&B group’s return and his role as the producer in the reality show. Check out his description of the show below:
Platinum House premieres tonight! February 23rd at 10pm on Atlanta’s Peachtree TV. I’ll be watching! Hopefully they’ll get to fighting like they did on that radio show last year. I can’t wait!

February 23, 2009 @ 3:22 pmI used to think reality shows were the last nail in an entertainer’s coffin… However, they turn out to be great product placement. Brett Michaels, Ray J, Flavor Flav… It’s probably a good investment if they want to come out with a new album

February 24, 2009 @ 12:56 pmIt was awful. FRUITY!!!! The saddest thing is when a man does not bow down gracefully. Nobody cares to see little Crisco flying around the room or Keith Sweat trying to make a comeback. How deep is your love was a classic. The Thong was fun. LET IT GO!!!!
