Rihanna’s Battered Pics Surface + Still No Chris Brown Mugshot
The gory photo showing Rihanna’s bruised and battered face has surfaced online and LAPD has launched a full investigation as to how the photos were leaked. The department issued a statement last night that said the photograph ‘has the appearance of one taken during an official domestic violence investigation’ but will not confirm the photos are authentic due to their duty to protect the confidentiality of the victim. (LAPD Statement) The pics have spread like wildfire but my only question is how was Rihanna’s pic leaked but there is still no sign of Chris Brown’s mugshot?

…and today just happens to be Rihanna’s 21st birthday. This is some bullsh*t!! Brown issued an apology for the incident and remains free on $50,000 bail.

February 20, 2009 @ 10:13 amidk if you got my @reply via twitter last night, but early on in the story’s development, perez posted a story about why the mugshot isn’t out. LA, the city (i thought county, but re-checked the story to be accurate) is the only city in which mugshots AREN’T public record. i know that these pics of rihanna aren’t, either, but sadly, i am sure tmz wanted them badly enough to pay top dollar ~ gruesome as it may be, you said urself, they’ve spread like wildfire and they haven’t even been up 12 hours yet ~ and i don’t think the same can be said for the cb mugshot, which is why no one wants to risk their job to give them out. yet, anyway. i predict we’ll see them in less than 2 weeks.

I don’t know how big she is but she is not stronger than him and nothing she did could have warrant this behavior. I promise you if that was my daughter, my brothers would literally try to kill him.

February 20, 2009 @ 10:47 amThanks Kayce! I just thought I’d put that out there since Rihanna’s photos weren’t “LEGALLY” released either. I just think it’s a twisted world we live in where the victim can be put on display but the *cough* alleged batterer’s photo is kept under wraps.
Just something to think about.

What more do people want her dayum obituary?!? We as women need to wake up and not let men do this to us! I jus pray that she does NOT take him back b/c then i will have NO sympathy for her!

February 20, 2009 @ 3:54 pmfirst of all I dont condone DV, but please okay Puffy broke Kim Porter’s nose and all these other celebrities fk their wives and gf’s up on the daily, and you dont hear about it; I’ve seen many a street fights and the victims look far worse than this. There are thousands of women that lose their lives to DV each year and you dont hear the big media coverage……GIVE IT A REST.

Now with that said NO ONE I REPEAT, NO ONE is above an *** whoopin, people please stop telling these women that it’s alright to do whatever to men, and they won’t hit you. That’s giving them a false sense of security, I’m not saying be afraid of men, but be smart you wouldn’t pick a fight with a 400 pound grizzly bear right?

We all know that women can be huge instigators and I feel sometimes DV can be exageratted-but not this. This is full out battery and he needs to be punished!
