I give you Kudos for listening first. You are a real parent.

I think it’s great that he is willing to clean up his act and take responsibility.
c’mon folks, you gotta realize that he is just a growing boy. So he will live and learn. But it’s good to see that he wants to use his image for positivity.

@ Donna:
From your post, I can tell that you may like hip hop, but you have yet to find the MANY artist (EmCee’s) that take responsibility for their actions, on and off wax… I hope that you find them soon. THEIR GREAT! Try Ice Cube, Public Enemy, Common, OutKast, Goodie Mob, Ludacris, Killer Mike, Dead Prez, Sean Price, KRS1, EPMD, NAS, Rakim, Ras Kas, M.O.P. Ghost Face Killah, E 40 Notorious BIG, and 2 PAC. I aint even scratch the surface but that should help you out, now hop on your limewire and google and experience some more real hip hop.

well you know what it is about time.. Soulja boy knows damn well that **** he sings about is not meant for his audience.. I blame is management,label, and all the grown ups around him because if he didnt know, guess what they did. I wanted to buy my 13 year old his cd, but guess what i had the sense to listen to it first.. come on brother you should have been got this stuff together. Pick you want to rap for adults or kids it is not that hard..

He was reading his lil speech.
This is just a ploy to get more adults to lets their kids listen to soulja boy.
This is his second album and has yet to have a mega hit burning up the charts like his last album.
Their scared hes gonna flop this time around.

Thats why he made a song for the females because birdwalk flopped so hard.
He needs the ringtones digital single sales and album sales like on the first album.
But ppl seem like they aren’t buying it this time around.

On his new album he has songs like “booty got swag”.
But he’s gonna watch his words??
Yea right.

Watch everybody gonna be like “oh, I respect him for this and he’s maturing”.

Within 24 hours he’ll probaby have a vid up talkin or freestylin bout he gets hoes and this that and the third.
