Check out this clip from D.L. Hughley’s new show on CNN where he bravely attended a recent Sara Palin rally. D.L. interviewed several Palin supporters, some of whom didn’t even know how to spell her last name. He also appeared to be one of only a few Black people in attendance. This is the funniest thing I’ve seen this week! I’m definitely going to have to set some time aside for his show.
Some 7th graders from Ron Clark Academy in Atlanta and their teacher prepared a political rendition of T.I.’s “Whatever You Like”. They group stayed neutral in their performance by separating into two sides and each taking a stand for either McCain or Obama. These kids have made it all the way to CNN! Way to go!
As part of his community service requirements, T.I. has recorded a PSA for Crime Stoppers Atlanta. The Tip line offers callers anonymity to report crimes throughout the city and the spot will air on WSB-TV Atlanta. I haven’t seen it on air yet, but I’m sure it’ll be well received by Tip’s Bankhead counterparts. A man’s gotta do, what a man’s gotta do to keep his freedom.
Sean “Diddy” Combs covered the October issues of L’Uomo Vogue magazine. Inside the issue, Diddy posed with his twin daughters, Jessie & D’Lila and has been receiving mad flack for their nudity. I think the twins are adorable but it is rather apparent that he’s profiting from their cuteness. But who really cares? They’re his kids, he can put them to work early if he wants to.
Also, in the latest Diddy Blog, the twins are featured on film to voice their support of Barack Obama. They are the cuteness! These two have done more before the age of two than some of you have done in a lifetime. Catch up bishes!!
Bobby Valentino, the “Lil Shawty from Atlanta” (his words not mine 😆 ), finally dropped the video for “Beep”. The song features Yung Joc and the video is packed with ATL cameos like Rocko, DJ Drama, Sean Garrett & Lloyd. I think I even saw Shay “Buckeey” Johnson from Flavor of Love sitting on the couch.
