Video ~ Aubrey Speaks About Being Booted from DK
“Eff You SEAN!!“
All you Making the Band fans listen up…Aubrey O’Day says don’t cry for her. She will be OK. The former bad-girl of Danity Kane recently prepared a video taped confessional regarding Diddy booting her from the group. In the vid, she makes a point to list all of her good points…I’m a very smart, talented, intelligent young woman and also touches on the nation’s political situation. In essence, she wishes to remain relevant and hopes that you guys will still talk about her. Check out the video:

October 15, 2008 @ 2:36 pmIt doesn’t tske a genius to see what happened here. Aubrey is the most talented and versatile of the girls in Danity Kane. She has special talent in acting, singing, and dancing, hence her role in “Hairspray.” Danity Kane gave her exposure and introduced her to the world, but her vision was greater than DK. The minute I heard of her “Hairspray” gig on Broadway, I knew the end was near. It’s too bad for the remaining members of DK, but Aubrey’s real career starts now. Her dream from her childhood did not include fronting a girls’ pop-r/b group. She wanted to be on the screen and on The Great White Way.. And now she is.
Who Cares
October 15, 2008 @ 2:46 pmShe forgot to mention her fetish for licking strip poles and dogs(the 4-legged kind).
Oops.. she was talking ‘her good points’

October 16, 2008 @ 4:37 amI love this girl. You can tell she is off of Diddy’s workout plan! lol She’s picked up some weight, but never-the-less, DK is not going to be the same. SHE IS THE PERSONALITY, and she will be fine, but i don’t know about the remaining members….
hmm
October 16, 2008 @ 10:41 amAubrey,
I can relate to your strong personality and I don’t think it’s a bad thing to have one. It’ll get you success in life. But as with anything else in this world, too much of a good thing is bad. There has to be a balance of the good things in our lives. I’ve been in your similar situation before and I’ve always had a very strong personality and sense of who I am, how I am and what I want to do. But pride usually gets in the way of lasting, loving relationships. I’m a person looking in from the outside and I may not know all the details, but I know that when you said you had absolutely no regrets I could tell that you hurt the other band members. Because they probably feel that you have hurt them in the past and then you pretty much said you don’t regret it. You said Shannon was holding your hand and that you know all the rest of them support you too, and you’re probably right. But the question is “Do you reciprocate that support?”
Usually as time passes we can look back at a situation and see it as a big picture, and only then is when we learn from it. I think that is what you meant when you said you don’t regret anything. But it’s hard to see the big picture when you’re “in” the situation at the present moment. I completely understand your reaction to defend yourself; because nobody likes to hear what others think is wrong with us. And I’m sure you felt embarrassed and personally attacked, I would have too. I just hope that you can tone it down enough to actively listen to the other girls’ points of view and do your best to see the situation from their point of view and understand why they are feeling the way they do.
Puff was right that if you keep thinking this way, you are going to end up in a very lonely place. And it’s not because of who you are, it’s because of your behavior. Our behaviors do not dictate who we are; we have control over our behaviors. We get to choose what we do or don’t do to the people who love us. I think you do care a lot about the other girls and that it could hurt you to think you did something to hurt them, but it is very possible that you might have done or said something that left at least one of them thinking “Well she doesn’t really care if she hurt my feelings” and then where is the relationship once you don’t care? And even though you DO care, it doesn’t change that they FEEL hurt and neglected. That is why it is important to communicate how we feel and why we feel that way. Most of the time the way we feel, has nothing to do with what the other person’s intentions were and communication is the key to fix these conflicts.
I think the other band members also have the responsibility to actually open up and share these things with you. It has to be both sides doing their part, in order for a relationship to work. Actively talking to convey a point (without insulting, of course) and actively listening, then coming to an understanding and a place where there can be compromise or just acceptance.
I’m a fan of Danity Kane and all its members and I don’t want to see the group broken up. I hope that you solve your problems.

October 16, 2008 @ 3:39 pmWell I think Aubrey is not the girl who Diddy first hired. She has changed alot, and I dont think its for the good. She thinks shes Marilyn Monroe or Anna Nichole. The old Aubrey was more appealing, This fake made up Aubrey is not cute. Aubrey I wish you the best , just continue to be you! If thats the direction you going in , so be it! Can you say porn star!

October 16, 2008 @ 5:14 pmGirl groups splitting up is not a good look but let’s see how far Aubrey will make it without Danity Kane, Bad Boy, and Diddy in her corner. She already proved she’s the most recognized personality in the group. Worse comes to worse she has that clothing line of hers to focus on.

Too Blessed to be Stressed
October 17, 2008 @ 7:32 pmI feel you make your bed and you have to lie in it,that’s what Aubrey did. I think she is talented, outgoing, and a risk taker. I also feel like she didn’t realize that Diddy is the BOSS at times. I know its hard to have someone talk a certain way to you but from what I seen when he was coming at her it was for good reason for the most part and I recall a time when he told her he is not expecting her to say Mr. Combs/yes sir just know that he is the boss and to give him respect I am suprised he put up with it this long, I seen it coming, hopefully she will learn something from this and grow from it.
