T.I. and Tiny were the life of the party as they celebrated Tip’s 28th birthday with “Untouchables – Part II” Saturday night. The private event was held last night at the Biltmore Hotel, an Atlanta historic landmark and was sponsored by Patron, Atlantic Records, and T.I.’s new clothing line (AKOO).
The entire Grand Hustle family was in the building! Shouts out to Nicole Garner of The Garner Circle PR for the invite and media access and a big thanks to Young Dro for not shooting the Valet…
Have you been sitting in long gas lines this weekend only to get to the pump and discover that the station was out of fuel? Are you following the current presidential campaign with a microscope? Well you still need to keep your wits about you, so I suggest you take a moment to breathe and listen to this hot new track from Rock City (brothers Timothy & Theron Thomas) called“Ride For Obama.” You may notice a familiar beat to the song, but unlike the other “Paper Planes” remixes, this song has a message.
With our nation in economic turmoil and the government on the brink of change, the songwriting duo has listened to the struggle from the streets and has made this track for everyone who feels hopeless in these dire times. A change is needed and Rock City is putting their mic in the air for that change.
Atlanta celebrity photographerFreddyO was spotted on the job at T.I.’s “Untouchables” event and I caught him in front of my camera! Fred has a series on his site called “Is This Your Son” and I just had to do it to him!! 😆

The “A”‘s own Killer Mike joined Dr. Michael Eric Dyson, Q-Tip and Michaela Angela Davis joined All Hip Hop’s social discussion panel on Hip Hop and Politics. Killer Mike lit up the discussion with strong advice to young Black men to vote. His tip? Shut up, listen to your elders and stop listening to dumb rappers! He also advised politicians that they should use the resources that the dumb rappers use to reach the dumb people that listen to them…LMAO. Tell em Mike!
BTW…NecoleBitchie will be participating in the next AHH panel on Hip Hop & Politics tomorrow afternoon at CAU. Can’t wait to see NB show out!
In case you’ve been under a rock, stuck in Atlanta gas lines, or are still checking for more MySpace drama, you may not have noticed that Atlanta has been taken over this weekend. Fresh off the heels of weekend proclamations such as “Luda-Day” and “SO SO Def,” T.I. has decided to claim his own dayum weekend!
