Now, now. Leave Mike alone. I love me some Prince though. I remember being a littl kid when this dude premiered. He was as exotic, as erotic and as talented as they came in those days.
If you were a Michael jackson fan more so than a Prince fan it was probably because you were to young to listen to Prince. Not to take anything away from Mike but Prince was fierce! See, we had parents back in those days that would monitor and not promote such mature, aggressive and raw talent such as Prince to their children.
That’s why the majority of us walked around with that red and black leather or pleather jacket on instead of the purple trench coat.

Prince lyrics alone were enough to get a girl pregnant back then and that’s without the interest of a boy.

“I guess I should have know by the way you parked your car sideways that it wouldn’t last. See you’re the kind of person that believes in makin out once, love em and leave em fast. I said, I guess I must be dumb I saw a pocket full of horse’s, trojan and some of em used but I was Saturday night, I guess that makes alright. She said what have I got to loose. Honey I said little red carvette. Baby you’re much too fast”.

That song was a trip. It was to adult for me back then. Hell, in some cases even now.
