If you haven’t already figured it out while walking through Lenox mall this weekend, it’s Black Gay Pride weekend in the “A.” In celebration, Danity Kane (less Aubrey) performed at Traxx Atlanta last night during their annual pride party. Some of you will also be pleased to see Jensen Atwood, the fine azz guy who plays Wade on Noah’s Arc, in some of these pics. Noah’s Arc is sort of like a gay Sex and the City and is billed as the first ever television series to feature Black gay men as main characters. I almost afraid to admit that the series got me hooked. Now I’m waiting for the dayum movie…
Entertainment Tonight’s Kevin Frazier got an exclusive, emotionally charged interview with Oprah Winfrey, who said she shed tears of joy over Barack Obama’s historic nomination acceptance speech at the Democratic National Convention. Oprah could not find the words to describe the historic event but was quick to say she cried her eyelashes off. Kanye West was also asked and replied, “It changed my life.” Frazier also caught up with Mary J. Blige and Forest Whitaker.

Dem Franchize Boyz went back to the 80’s for their new video “Turn Heads” featuring Lloyd. It’s been a minute since we heard from these dudes ~ I think the most recent was on Monica’s “Everytime tha Beat Drop.” But their last release consisted of a string of hits like “Lean Wit it Rock Wit it” & “Oh, I Think They Like Me.” Originally signed to Jermaine Dupri’s So So Def, they moved to Capital and are now on Koch. Their 3rd Studio Album “Our World, Our Way” is due in stores September 30.
Halle Berry and little Nahla Ariela Aubry were spotted at the Zoo yesterday. Nahla is about 6 months now and is such a cutie! Word on the street is that Halle is no longer a single mom. She has recently been spotted sporting a large diamond on her wedding finger and some say she and baby daddy, Gabe have already tied the knot!
