The BET awards aired last night, and unlike last year…there were no major arrests. There were however, some major disappointments (*cough* Usher) but I won’t focus on the negative. What I will focus on is the great performances:Ne-Yo…Ne-Yo..Ne-Yo! You know you did your thang! Alicia Keys bringing out TLC, SWV and EnVogue was genius. Maxwell…where you been man?! 
and you know I have to mention Jeezy, Ciara, Ludacris, Big Boi and all the A-town players just for GP!

Chris Brown’s BET Performance w/Ciara Usher’s Disappointing BET Performance – Love in This Club
I promised that I wouldn’t say nothing bad about Usher…since everyone else already has that covered…but he coulda at least let Jeezy do his verse. Maybe that would have made this performance a little less lack-luster. That and some Red Bull. 
The best awards show ever!
The performances were really good and the production was the best ever. I couldn’t even tell that it was put on by a black run organization.
You all know what I mean.

Ummmm Dana… Just for the record BET is run by Viacom, the same company that runs MTV and VH1. It may be called “Black Entertainment Television” but it’s definitely NOT a black run organization!
