Erykah Badu Performs // Badu Baby Daddy Update
Erykah Badu (and her big azz fro) was spotted performing last night on VH1’s Soul Stage at St. Annes Warehouse in Brooklyn, New York. If these pics tell the story, that performance was off da hook!
The gossip mill has also been buzzing this week about who’s the daddy of Erykah’s 3 year old daughter, Puma. Word on the street is that it’s either D.O.C. or Andre 3000…
All I know is that Erykah is the ish…who care’s who the baby daddy is…!
If you haven’t already seen it click here to view her new video for “Honey.”

Erykah, the world is in desperate need of another Momma’s Gun or something soul shaking and earth moving from you as only you can deliver.
It’s way past time for you to reclaim your throne.
To anyone who doesn’t know just listen to her poetic lyrical art. She sings to you in color creating symmetrical objects in an array of abstract strokes through song in the soul and mind.
Bag lady you gone hurt your back. Draggin all dem bags like that. I guess nobody ever told you……..
I think you better call Tyrone but you can’t use my phone…….
Touch a four leaf clover maybe we’ll get over trying good luck might come your way…..
On and on, and on and on………
My eye’s are green cause I eat’s a lot of vegetables. It ain’t got nothin to do with your new friend. My eye’s are green cause I eat’s a lot of vegetables it ain’t got NOTHIN…TO DO WITH YOUR N E W F R I E N D…….
Erykah. You speak to me, about me, for me and from the soul of me. In the time of instant music you represent the current day Ella, Billie Holiday, Eta James, Diana Ross and many more.
And that’s the real!
I love Erykah.

February 21, 2008 @ 3:39 pmErykah honey.
I had such a nice message for you that I wanted posted but for some reason the site wouldn’t post it.
It’s time for you to reclaim your throne. You represent something that is desperately needed in today’s time of I can hold a note and I have a cute shape so I’m a star. You represent a modern day version of Ella, Billie Holiday, Eta James, Diana Ross and many more. I am willing to bet that when you started out that you had no idea that you would touch people like me the way that you do. Touching the inner soul of a person with the colorful artistic lyrics that you bring to life whenever you perform and notice I said perform and not sing.
Because that’s what you are is a performer.
I love and miss you Erykah and can’t wait until the 26th of Feb., when we can rekindle our love affair for soulful modern day Rembrandt’s.
