You may have heard that Jermaine Dupri has had a book written written a book about his life in the music industry.   I haven’t read any advanced copies or anything…I’m not that special….but I’ve heard that it’s a must read for anyone hoping to make it in the music industry.   Jermaine is one of those artists who have sustained the test of time and he should definately be commended on his success!   So….go out and buy the book!   Also, Jermaine will be at Borders Book Store in Buckhead on Saturday (Oct. 13th) from 1pm to 3pm signing copies.   I have a hair appointment so I won’t be attending, but I’m sure one of my baby daddies will cop an autographed copy for me…..hint. hint.

Alexyss K. Tylor has joined the “A” team!!   What was that……you don’t know who Alexyss K. Tylor is???   Well, let me refresh your memory.  Alexyss is solely responsible for coining the popular phrase “Vagina Power”.  She was also the host of her own show on Atlanta public access television where she spoke classic lines such as “The Dick will make you slap somebody!” (I know you remember all those infamous YouTube videos of her show!)

Starting next week, Alexyss is joining Straight from the “A” to bring all you lovelorn lost puppies some sound love, sex and dating advice.   So get your Dildos notepads ready, cause it’s about to be on and poppin’!!!

 Karrine Steffans aka Superhead graced the “A” with her presence this weekend.  She was scheduled for a promotional book signing at Verve Lounge on Friday night.   Well according to the video below….it appears that not too many ATLiens were interested in attending.   It also seems that her new book is more hype than content and it is rumored that she is infected with the HIV virus. Tyler Perry held the movie premiere for his new film “Why Did I Get Married?” in Hollywood, California a few days ago.  The movie officially opens October 12th and I plan to be one of the first in line.  I’m supporting all of Tyler’s films especially since he has purchased a plot of land near Greenbriar Mall for his new studio!  Tyler…..I love you!  View more pictures of the premiere after the jump… (more…)
